Do you standardize for beta-glucans or total polysaccharides?
Yes. We can develop to either beta-glucan specifications or total polysaccharides—or list both when appropriate.
- Beta-glucans: Typically verified using enzymatic assays designed to quantify 1,3/1,6 beta-glucans.
- Total polysaccharides: Measured via validated spectrophotometric methods.
We’ll recommend a target based on your product goals, cost constraints, and sourcing (fruiting body vs. full-spectrum extracts), then lock it in your spec sheet and COA.
Can you work with fruiting-body extracts only?
Yes. We can formulate with fruiting-body–only extracts if that’s your brand’s standard. We also support full-spectrum extracts when desired.

- Every lot is documented with traceability, supplier COAs, and our incoming QA checks before use.
What flavor strategies reduce earthy or bitter notes?
We combine formulation and sensory tactics to minimize bitterness/earthiness while keeping actives on target:
- Matrix & sweetness systems: balanced sugar/low-sugar options; stevia/monk fruit; allulose/erythritol as needed.
- Acidulants & buffers: citric, malic, tartaric, and pH tuning to brighten flavor and reduce aftertaste.

How do you verify actives and issue COAs?
Each production lot follows a documented QA path:
1. Identity & purity: HPTLC or comparable ID methods on incoming materials; supplier COAs verified.
2. Actives testing: beta-glucans and/or total polysaccharides per your spec; additional markers as requested.
3. Safety panel: micro (APC, yeast/mold, pathogens), heavy metals (ICP-MS), and residual solvents where applicable.
4. Release & COA: We compile a Certificate of Analysis for each lot covering all required tests, methods, and results, with full lot traceability.
What are typical MOQs and lead times?
MOQs: Most formats start around ~250 units per SKU (capsules/powders may vary).
Lead times:
Formulation & sampling: ~1–3 weeks after your brief.
Production: ~4–8 weeks after final formula, PO, and materials are approved and on hand.
Reorders: Often faster, assuming materials and packaging are available.
